HobbyFest 2017
Celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year, HobbyFest is a free community festival that educates the local community about the Hobby Airport and its support of the area residents by awarding scholarships and greater Houston by supporting transportation-related charities. The festival featured vintage aircraft, free lunch, kid’s zone, raffle, DJ and giveaways!

Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park 2017
Another successful event produced by Art Colony Association on March 24-26. The three day festival attracted over 20,000 attendees and exposed our sponsors to over 3 million media impressions. Our sponsors and artists reported it was their most successful festival ever!

Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park 2016
This year, Art Colony Association, Inc. is celebrating 45 years of fine art as it hosted more than 350 artists and attracted over 20,000 guests during its annual Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park on April 29 - May 1. As the Director of the Children’s Creative Zone, I improved communication with partners, restructured volunteer requirements and clarified contract language. We also welcomed new a new community partner, sponsor and entertainment in the zone which all had a great experience.

Bayou Greenway Day 2016
The 2nd annual Bayou Greenway Day presented by Noble Energy was a tremendous success where thousands of Houstonians who enjoyed games, interactive activities, contests and food samples. It was held on Saturday, March 23, 2016 in T.C. Jester Park between 34th and 43rd streets celebrating White Oak Bayou.
As Festival Director, I succeeded in making the second annual event more interactive and implementing improvements including a consolidated footprint, augmented stage programming, improved festival atmosphere and raising tens of thousands of dollars for the Houston Parks Board.
Bayou Greenway Day is a celebration – a free, family festival open to all. Bayou Greenway Day is a day to walk, bike, run, stroll, play, picnic and paddle along the Bayou Greenways and make new friends.

iWalk for Animals 2015
Worked with the Houston SPCA as the event director for their iWalk for Animals on Saturday, December 5th at Stude Park. Hundreds of people joined us for these free, family 1K & 5K walks and accompanying festival with Santa, contests, prizes, vendors, music, and agility demonstrations. Urban Wild’s Bridge Bash
Worked with the Memorial Park Conservancy’s Urban Wild group as their site operations director for their kick-off event on a fall evening in November on the Living Bridge in Memorial Park.
