MEG MALONE, Founder and President

Proven leader, passionate about creating outdoor experiences for the Texas community, skilled at keeping teams focused and efficiently executing on schedule and under budget. Strategic freelance partner who seamlessly integrates into organizations to help define, plan, and execute events by leading or providing support in all event areas – event management, site operations and logistics, budget, sponsorships, marketing and promotion, programming and vendors, finance, and volunteers.

Excels in problem solving, organization, leadership and proactive and responsive decision making.

Meg Malone is a third generation Houstonian with deep knowledge of the community and landscape. She is a graduate of The University of Virginia and The Kinkaid School.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston – Advisory Board Member (October 2014 – current), served on Strategic Planning Committee.

Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation’s Stewards of the Wild – Houston – Advisory Board Member (January 2015 – January 2016)

University of Virginia Reunion Giving Committee – Committee Member (September 2012 – June 2013). Class of 1998 Giving Committee won an award for raising the highest dollar amount among the reunion classes collecting over $12 million in donations.
