Another successful event produced by Art Colony Association on March 24-26. The three day festival attracted over 20,000 attendees and exposed our sponsors to over 3 million media impressions. Our sponsors and artists reported it was their most successful festival ever!
What a successful event! Our 45th Anniversary year brought increased attendance, sponsors, artist sales and tons of fun! In addition to continuing as Director of the Children’s Creative Zone, I also managed sponsorship activation and created new community partnerships. This year, Art Colony Association, Inc. is celebrating 45 years of fine art as it hosted more than 350 artists and attracted over 20,000 guests during its annual Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park on April 29 - May 1. As the Director of the Children’s Creative Zone, I improved communication with partners, restructured volunteer requirements and clarified contract language. We also welcomed new a new community partner, sponsor and entertainment in the zone which all had a great experience.
Worked with the Art Colony Association as Director of the Green Mountain Energy Children’s Creative Zone and the VIP Area for the fall event near City Hall in downtown Houston. We had near record numbers of people visit the Children’s Creative Zone including nearly 1,000 children enjoying our crafting activities! www.artcolonyassociation.org
In charge of planning and executing the VIP experience and the interactive Green Mountain Energy Children’s Creative Zone at this event held in downtown Houston which attracts 40,000 attendees over two days. Worked closely with non-profit partners and outside vendors; provided support and counsel to the event leader, the Executive Director of the Art Colony Association, the event producer.
